The figures

The Côtes wines group is today a real economic strength in the Bordeaux wines world, with a total production of 1 million hectolitres (15% of the whole Bordeaux production).

In 2000, 15 % of the French households bought wines from the coasts of Bordeaux which represents 5 bottles in the year.

1999 - 2000 exporting campaign :

The group exported 123,900 hl (0.6% of the Bordeaux appellations). 81 % towards European Union ( 29 % to Belgium, 18 % to Germany, 15 % to UK, 4.5 % to Netherlands and 19 % to third countries.
